Why do I feel like I beg my bf to hang out with me?

everytime I wanna hang out with my bf he doesn’t respond unless I double text him or call him and he’s never the one to ask me.? we got back together in the summer and we have been together for years but he doesn’t put in any effort at all. I need to mentally prepare myself to leave this man because I’m no longer happy with how little he appreciates me.

The way I see it is you make time for the things that are important. If he saw you as a priority he’d make time for you, I was with someone like that and it was miserable. When my husband and I were dating I never felt like he was too busy or just didn’t care to hang out with me. You’ll be so much happier letting go of this relationship, it shouldn’t feel like work just trying to see your person

He might be busy when you want to hang out. He might be having some time for him or his hobbies. He might not want to hang out some days for personal reasons. It does get annoying when people double text and call. It makes a person feel obligated to answer back. 
Have you ever asked him to set aside some time for both of you? Some people aren’t planning people and they don’t want to plan a date day or time. He might not know anything is wrong if you don’t communicate your issue to him face to face.

Yup you said it! Mentally prepare yourself to leave him. I always go by “if he wanted to he would” & “no response is a response”. Someone else will treat you right and you’ll end up being happier with yourself once you leave.
