has anyone tested negative on the day of their missed period but ended up pregnant?

Only with my third pregnancy (currently 20 weeks). I was 5 months postpartum, exclusively breastfeeding & on the mini-pill. I was getting irregular periods, but they were starting to regulate more as baby was starting to sleep more throughout the night so I was nursing less. I was “4 days late” when I got a very faint positive.. got a super blazing positive at 6 days late. I did test beforehand too because I just had a feeling I was pregnant. My tests were negative up until I was 4 days late.
