I’m just about 13 and a half weeks now and today I just hired my doula for June. Rather excited about it. I’ve been having some trouble coming to terms with being pregnant. When I first took my pregnancy test and it was positive I literally had a panic attack and I vomited profanity like I was possessed 😅🤦🏼‍♀️ not my finest moment tbh. I’ve had two OB appointments and 2 scans and everything is great, more than great really. I’m very low risk and everything is just fine. I’m just having trouble wrapping my brain around it. But I’m trying. I’ve been looking at baby names and looking at baby stuff. Planning on what I need to buy. But it all seems surreal. Today hiring my doula was a huge step in acknowledging my pregnancy. After my last baby was born I was wishing I had a doula with me. Doulas are so amazing. I love the work they do. As anyone else hired a doula or planning on hiring a doula?
