l've had this boil on my butt for a week or so.

It was a lot bigger before and red and

PAINFUL. now it's much smaller, but still itchy .. no pain though. I've been applying boil ease to it and covering it with bandaids for a couple days. now it looks like this and i'm reading a lot and it keeps mentioning sepsis. please let me know if you've been through this before and how long it took to go :) also, if the size of the boil is a lot smaller and it’s not painful anymore, can it still be an abscess or it’s healing? thank you all!

p.s. it did pop im last night i think? because some gunk/black stuff came out of it but i never had one of these so idk
