What kind of clothes you wore after having your baby and how long?

Trying to see if I need to buy anything for post partum . This is my first baby and I’m not sure.

What the heck are jeans? I’ve been wearing pjs/sweats/leggings for 6 years.

It's 💯 acceptable to live in pj's and sweatpants. And in my opinion there is no cutoff time for how long it is acceptable.
I also made it a point to answer the door for visitors in my pj's and robe so they knew I was in recovery mode and they would leave faster. LOL. It has dual purposes. 
Walmart carries some maternity clothes called Time and True. I lived in their dresses that come in a bag and their cotton wide leg sweat Capri pants.

Totally going to be in all Loungewear and long cardigans . Thank god it’s winter ♥️

I lived in nightgowns and loose dresses. Way more comfy and easy to wear when you are bleeding and have to change yourself often.

When I'm not pregnant, I wear jeans almost everyday. After my first kid, I exclusively wore sweats/pj's for 2-3 weeks when the bleeding was heaviest, then I wore my maternity jeans for the next month or so. I ended up buying a pair of jeans/pants 2 sizes bigger than my pre pregnancy size and wore those from 2-6 months postpartum until I lost the baby weight and could fit back into my old clothes.

I never wear jeans 😅 but I just brought sweatpants to the hospital and then when I got home I just went back to wearing my leggings and shorts and stuff. I also just wore depends when the bleeding was really heavy instead of the hospital pads cause those are ridiculous lol

Since baby’s birth 2 weeks ago I’m living in maternity PJs / sweatpants/ leggings/ and couldn’t care less. Zero desire whatsoever to wear jeans or anything restrictive as I had a C section plus boobs are pretty damn sore with breastfeeding- just so much easier to be in PJs.
