37+6 Arrived at L&D at 5:30 pm with contractions 4-5 minutes apart, 4cm dilated. Spent 3 hours in triage where they almost sent me home! But I had bloody show and my cervix went from hard to 100% in that time so thankfully I didn’t go home. Was admitted (9 pm) at 4 cm. The nurse told me to tell her if my water breaks and it literally broke thirty seconds later. This was all within 10 minutes of being in the delivery room. I labored for a bit while waiting for the anesthesiologist but no progression. Things quickly took off after I got the epidural. Felt everything in my butt 😅 Went from 4 to 10 cm within an hour. Sooo much pressure but they wouldn’t let me push. I waited for nearly 30 minutes at complete for my doctor to arrive. Didn’t happen. The OB at the hospital delivered her and my doctor walked in just as baby was coming out. Only pushed 4 times and I’m actually glad I had a little feeling still after the epi. Made it a lot easier.

I’m currently dealing with some high BP issues. Had PP Preeclampsia with my last baby so the high BP isn’t exactly a surprise. Trying to get my meds and dosage right so I can start feeling better. Closely being monitored by my OB. Focusing on her and all of her brothers has managed to keep me stress free, hoping for the best, and going with the flow ❤️
