Is it dangerous to donate plasma? I’m really scared if it will go wrong

This will be my first time donating plasma but I’m really scared because supposedly if an air bubble gets in I can pretty much die, I just need to know if it’s dangerous

I have been donating twice a week for 3 years…never had any issues…nor have I seen any of the other donors have any serious issues. It’s either dehydration or a blood sugar drop anytime I have seen something happen.
You might get cold….bring a cardigan or hoodie. 
Make sure you eat before your appointment & drink LOTS of water/tea/juice in the 48 hours before. I also take an iron supplement in the AM before my appointment…and eat a quick pb&j sandwich right after (I leave my snack in the car while I am donating)….I also have a bottle of water waiting in my car.
Bring something to read or do (and be able to do 1 handed) during your appointment…my Kindle makes my time go quicker.
A squeeze ball or something of the sort will help donation move quicker…just doing a slow & steady very light movement will keep everything moving…don’t squeeze hard or move your arm…just fingertip movement.

You should be more than fine, they are professionals. I know a few people who go every other week or so.
