How do u just move to another state or country like that ?

So im thinking about moving but how? When i have to get another job… i have to get another place, Etc!! Do people look for those first then they move? Or what? How can people just get up and go to another place so fast? I just wanna start all over somewhere breathe fresh air and not this ugly ass air in California… but how?

Well we are planning to move across the US next year… we started by finding jobs for my husband- so he started applying for positions in his field all over the place within the state we wanted, and then once the offers rolled in, we started researching the surrounding towns, amenities, crime rate, programs for kids, churches, county/town culture (I.e. county fair, rodeo, restaurants, what type of community and festivities do they offer etc). We’ve narrowed our area down and he accepted an offer, it’s just not till next year lol. We won’t start looking at housing until we are closer to moving (the job doesn’t start till September 2023).

Lol I live in California too and want to move. A good way to start is see if your current job transfers anywhere. We want to move too but have a hard time wrapping our mind around leaving our family, but still might do it. I make the the most money in me and my husbands marriage and my job can go anywhere. So in the future I'll probably transfer my job (I also work from home but have to stay in California with this job) so work from home with my new out of state job temporarily in California, find a house to rent. Move. My husband could look for a job out there once we move. My salary should cover us in another state because California is expensive as hell. I feel like I would rich somewhere else 😂😂😂😂 here we are poor

I’m 23 years old and I’m moving from Canada to Australia by myself. It took me a month to make the decision. I got a work visa first, then a job, plane tickets, an apartment, now just a bank account and phone plan is left. I leave in 2 weeks. 
My advice, just go. You can always leave if you don’t like it, but you’ll never know until you try. A motto I live by is, “you don’t grow when you’re comfortable”, meaning that you should do things that scare you and make you nervous. You’d be surprised at what you’re capable of.

It takes preparation, especially moving countries. I would suggest handling the administrative aspects of leaving/setting up and moving in and of course secure a job first before anything else! Your employer can be a good resource when relocating. I’d also make sure it’s a good area for your field/expertise and/or you can find another job if it ever came to that. That last part is for moving countries, less necessary perhaps moving states
