Subchorionic Hemorrhage

Anyone have experience with SCH? This is my second pregnancy, and I never had any bleeding with my first. I had intense contraction-like cramps and bled through several pads on Monday - I fully expected that I was having a miscarriage, but the ER doctor told me that baby’s heart rate was strong (174), and that I had a subchorionic hemorrhage (9w5d). I am working on getting in with an OB as soon as I can, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice or success stories about heavy first trimester bleeding? Thanks in advance!
