Hi ladies I just need some advice from those who have similar experience. I’m 22 weeks and 4 days. They found yesterday that I have a short cervix measuring 22mm, short from the 25mm. I have had a previous birth at 38 weeks 6 days 4 years ago. Because of that, they won’t do a cerclage stitch. They have prescribed progesterone suppositories to take nightly. I asked about any follow up appointments and or any restrictions and I was told it wasn’t necessary just to let them know if I have any symptoms of labor. I feel like my doctor is taking this way too lightly and not doing enough. My anxiety is through the roof because I feel like I’m just left here to worry that I will go into labor at any minute. Any suggestions or am I over reacting?
