I found out I was pregnant with our first baby on September 30th. I hadn't been feeling well all day as I had mild nausea that just wouldn't go away. So I decided to go buy a hpt. I figured it would come back negative like it had been for the past nine months. One line appeared and then the second one. I couldn't believe it. All I could keep saying was "oh my god!" My husband didn't find out until he came home from work at 6am. I had bought a simple card and a book that was wrapped. The book was a mans survival guide to pregnancy and the first year. He was very happy and said " Wow, I have a DD for 9 months!" We both started laughing. We are very excited to start this next step of our lives!
