Did your stretch & sweep work?

Question

Having a stretch & sweep done tomorrow, will be 40 weeks! Just wondering other people’s experiences and if it was an uncomfortable experience and what to expect really.

I had one done at 40 weeks. Baby born at 40+3. I was only 2-3cm. I definitely think she would have been a 41-42week baby if I hadn’t done one. I wish I had just waited.

Had one done yesterday. Im 3cm/70% effaced. Nothing really happened except for loosing parts of my mucus plug all day today.

I had one at 38+3 with my son. The next day I had my bloody show and the day after that my waters broke and he came 5am on 3rd day after my sweep! I have one tomorrow too at 38 weeks! I’m so hoping it works this time too. My midwife said using a birthing ball and doing squats is the best thing to do. The lower the head the higher the chance of the sweep working x
