How near is labor??

Question

Just had my 39W checkup today and she said I am now 70% effaced and barely dilated to 1/2cm (last week I was 0% effaced and not at all dialated). How soon am I probably going to go into labor? No real contractions yet.

No way to tell, I’ve been at a three and 80 percent for the last few days with no change . Every body moves differently, good luck

I was at 1cm and 70% for like 3 weeks. Didn’t go into labor until this last Tuesday at 41 weeks. It’s just hard to tell!! Good luck though! 😊

There’s no way to know. You could go into labor at 0cm or walk around for weeks at a 4. Hang in there and try to get some rest in the midst of the holiday craziness!
