So my sons dad came into my life when my daughter was 18months old, my daughters father is not in her life so she thinks my sons dad is her dad. Me and my sons dad was together for 3 years and we had a baby together but broke up bc he cheated on me but he is still very active in my daughters life he loves her to death and he doesn’t treat either one of the kids differently…ok so here the thing my current Bf doesn’t think I should let him still “play” daddy that I should just tell my daughter that that’s not ur real dad so u can’t see him anymore he says I’m forcing him to be daddy when he literally says she’s HIS kid I just don’t understand y it bothers him so much he said it’s bc I’ve never been a step parent but I still don’t understand it like if I told her she couldn’t see him no more I’d be hurting her y would I want to hurt her so badly…
