To my partner and I, christmas (in the USA) is a holiday of marked materialism, family-related trauma and, overall, just a red, white and green euphemism for greed. Does anyone else despise the "holiday spirit?" I see the purpose of a holiday gathering for some, particularly those less fortunate or who observe it solely from a religious perspective. American holiday marketing though? 🤮🤮🤮 might be easy for us to say, however, as atheists. What about you guys?
