Bleeding….concerned. Don’t look if blood squeemish

Danie • Mother of a beautiful 14 year old girl. She forever changed my life for the better.

I am getting so frustrated and confused about what’s going on… at almost 19 weeks I went in to emergency for bleeding. It eventually tapered off and went away.

The checked me the next day and said cervix and everything looked fine and they can’t find anything.

A week later, more bleeding. Same thing but over the course of three days. Starts bright red then slowly goes purple-ish and then brown and then gone. Then I had about three days with nothing and then woke up this morning with more and it’s the most so far …. It’s been 9 hours and I don’t know what to do or what’s going on… they can’t do anything for anyone under 26 weeks and I’m 21 weeks and it’s not super duper heavy and I have no cramps besides my IBSc flaring due to stress.

They have my detailed scan set for next Saturday but I feel like there is obviously something going on. There’s no way this is normal and it’s honestly really getting to me mentally.

Does anyone have a similar experience or any ideas ?

Try taking Aloha Lipoic Acid…regardless of whether it’s a subchorionic hematoma or another type of high risk injury- the ALA will help it heal. I had a horrible blood-gushing SCH for nearly 7 weeks & bought ALA & went on partial bedrest & it finally resolved after a couple weeks. Make sure not to lift anything over 10 lbs & try to stay horizontal as much as possible. Sending healing vibes your way mama ✨❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

Looks and sounds like my subchorionic haemorrhage did. They should be able to see a shadow area on US

I had heavy bleeding at 18 weeks. I have perigestational hemorrhage. My doctor said it is common in pregnancies, but it is not normal to happen. I am pretty much on bed rest until my next appointment. Have you spoken or seen your OBGYN since the ER visit?

Could be an SCH - I’m suprised they haven’t scanned you sooner? I would request one if you can. I currently have 2 sch’s and had weeks of bleeding and clots xx

I went to the er last night for bleeding.. no clots and my placenta is laying low. Close to my cervix. They said it can cause bleeding and will monitor it to make sure it moves before birth. Did they give you an ultrasound at the ER?

I’m not sure what’s going on but I understand why you are concerned. Seeing blood can be frightening but I do hope you find out some helpful answers and everything is okay with you and baby. ❤️
