Has anyone been with a partner who’s not the parent of your child but tells you what to do and say to your kid? My partner of 7 months has been doing it and it actually does my head in. My daughter is 3 years old, and my partner always tells me what to do and what to say or what not to do… and my partner has no kids. She also takes over situations like tantrums and stuff all the time and talks over me when I’m trying to talk to my kid.

It actually drives me nuts but I don’t know how to say it without causing a fight or making my partner feel upset by it.

Like it’s a constant thing everyday and I’m getting over it
