Hello everyone, I am searching for someone who can share their experience with baby screaming while breastfeeding. I am exclusively breastfeeding since my baby boy was born (now he is 8 weeks old), he is gaining weight and overall he is very strong and healthy!

Since maybe week 4 he started screaming, pulling and fussing while breastfeeding. Side doesn’t matter and position doesn’t change anything. I think I do have oversupply but I’m sure he can manage it because when he is sleepy (especially during night feeds) he has no problem eating in peace.

I really want this to be nice experience, it’s extremely annoying and makes me sad to have so much trouble feeding during the day…instead of spending ~20min of beautiful bonding experience it takes an hour of calming him down and feeding. Impossible to do this in public if we go somewhere. I also don’t think he has latching problems at all, in fact we were checked in the hospital after birth and no one ever mentioned he has latching problem, actually all midwives were praising us.

Will this ever stop? Does anyone have similar experience and does it stop and when did it stop for you? What should I do? Help!!!
