Timing pregnancy date
Hi, I’m new to this site and entire trying to get pregnant thing. So I’ve been on birth control for 10+ years. And I’m 36. I want to get pregnant and just took a thyroid test, came back good, never had any irregular exams from my obgyn visits etc so as far as I know I’m healthy. This would be my first time trying to get pregnant. But because I’m a control freak the ideal time for me to have a child would be in March or April next year. I have no maternity leave as a teacher and that would be the best timing to take 8 weeks off and then have the summer with a newborn. But again being 36 now I’m wondering if I should go ahead and get off birth control now just to give my body a chance to adjust or do I wait a little bit…but my struggle is who knows how long it will take for me to get pregnant. What would you do?
