Sorry this post is a bit tmi.

Today I had an internal ultrasound done to see how far along I am (7 weeks on the dot!) About 5 hours after my ultrasound, I started feeling some mild cramping and went to the bathroom and my panties were stained in dark red blood and I felt like I started my period with how much was coming out. It felt like I was peeing out blood for at least 30 seconds. I called an on-call dr and they said to come in tomorrow morning but I’m currently crying and freaking out, honestly about to go to the ER. The bleeding has lightened up but still is dark red and now more spotty but then randomly becomes heavy at times..I saw they’re heartbeat today, praying it’s not a start of a miscarriage :(

Has anybody experienced heavy bleeding after an interval ultrasound?
