My 4 month old got RSV for the first time a week after thanking. It was hard to tell she was sick. She started coughing and I knew it was rsv season so I started natural home remedies. She laughed and smiled and was her self the whole time. At night was the worse. We are back with RSV I believe she never fully got over the forest round and she’s coughing and wheezing and mouse fussy then last time.She just had her first dose of Tylenol.I am rubbing rub on her chest, back and feet. I use zarbees Also sticking her nose with saline dropsI will stand with her in the bathroom shower at max to make steam. Helps with clearing the nose and breathing also have a humidifier use a cool mist oneSucking on a lemon helps will drying up extra drool from virus… I hope this help👍🏾😁

How bad was it when your baby had rsv for the first time ? How long did it last? What we’re all the major symptoms? I think my 5 month old has rsv but not 100% sure. We have a doc appt today. Last night the symptoms started. She was very congested and little bit of sneezing. No fever, just good amount of mucus. She didn’t have a runny nose or anything, I couldn’t really see any mucus when I looked inside her nose so the mucus was far back in her nasal. She only wanted to sleep in my arms, screamed when I set her down. Does this sound like it could be rsv?

It was BAD. But my daughter has asthma, so any respiratory illness goes 0-100 real quick. She didn’t really have much mucus from what I remember. It was constant coughing and wheezing to the point where she was gagging. We ended up at her peds office and her oxygen was super low so we got sent to the ER. she was on a nebulizer every 4 hours with inhalers in between. Plus steroids.

Probably just one of the 100 other virus floating around. My daughter is on her 3rd in the past 2 months. Not covid, not flu, not rsv. Just gotta ride the wave until it’s done.

So doc ruled out rsv and covid. She was fine at the doc office, of course. Then we got home and she woke up from her nap with a fever 😫😫
