So first credit card ever!! I got approved for 3,000. All I’m going to use it for is to put my utilities/bills on there and nothing else. My sole purpose of this card is to get credit up.

So I made an Allstate payment on Dec 9th with the credit card and figured I’d pay it off today and did. They said first payment would be due Feb 2nd but I just paid it in full already. So next I’ll put my car payment on it today and wait 2 or so weeks and pay it in full again. Then I’ll put another utility or whatever bill on it, wait 2 weeks, pay in full, then repeat.

Do I have this right? So use the card, in 2 weeks pay in full, then repeat? Will I get better credit in doing this?
