They supply it and don’t be afraid to ask for some to take with, they may or may not give you more. My hospital always gave some extra. Also, don’t feel pressured into breast feeding if you’re set on formula fed. I tried with my first and second in the hospital and so many things went wrong so I’ve always formula fed, this is my 3rd and I will not be trying again to breast feed in the hospital but sometimes they can be a little pushy/overwhelming. Just stand your ground on what you want for baby!

Agree with this 100%!!! I was given some at hospital.
I honestly didn’t try to breast feed my first, i had been through experiences with close friends having issues and i know to some people it’s bad but it scarred me and i didn’t want to go through what i saw my friends go through. I will never forget her in the hospital crying because she wanted to stop trying since it wasn’t working and the nurses wouldn’t let her. So from day one when I’m asked i am adamant I’m formula feeding and no one will change my mind or make me feel bad about it. It ended up being the best thing for my family too. My husband was so involved in taking care of our little guy and he loved being able to so much. I’m doing the same this time around as well.
