12/28/22 was the EDD for this little dude!

Today he is getting eye surgery since he has ROP (eye disease that’s common in preemies). They caught it early so hopefully there won’t be any long term effects.

His brain bleed pocket (not bleeding anymore) is still being monitored as it’s not doing what it needs to be doing. He most likely needs a shunt placed so we are hoping for a decision on that by tonight.

He turns 3 months old on January 3rd!

He’s close to 9lbs! He was born 2lbs 9oz.

He’ll need oxygen for a few months as his breathing still isn’t stable. But he can go home on oxygen so that’s not going to hold him back!

We feel like going home is getting a bit closer! 🤞🏻
