Weight gain so far?

I had my 29 week appointment and the doctor told me I gained the max recommended 30lbs already. Since I still have several weeks to go she is concerned that the baby will be too big since the rate I’m gaining weight. She scheduled an growth scan ultrasound for 31 weeks. Has this happened to anyone else?

I’m 29 weeks tomorrow (12/31) and I’ve gained between 25-30 at this point. I gained 55 with my first and delivered just shy of 35 weeks. My doctor has never even mentioned my weight gain with either pregnancy..
I’m also a type one diabetic and the fact that I take insulin all the time can also cause my babies to gain weight faster while pregnant and even with that they have never said anything about what I gain.
Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. I wouldn’t think too much about it as long as they monitor the baby and everything is okay.

I have gained 50+ lbs. I swell up pretty bad. This is my 5th child and with each one I’ve gained well over 30 lbs. I always pass my glucose tests as well. Just swell up.

I’ve gained under 10lbs so far and I’m 29.5 weeks. This is my first pregnancy, I haven’t been super crazy about eating healthy, I still enjoy snacks here and there, but I haven’t been over eating much. I expected to gain more by this point to be honest. I have some extra weight on me to begin with though, so not gaining too much isn’t a concern thankfully. Every body is different in how their body responds to pregnancy and our bodies do what they need to in order to create the perfect environment for our little ones❤️

I haven’t gained any weight yet at 29+6 cuz of gestational diabetes. I’m very diet controlled. It’s nice to not gain the weight, but the food restriction while pregnant sucks. I am overweight to begin with so my OB isn’t concerned with me not gaining weight as long as the baby is growing and healthy.

I gained 55-60lbs with my first. They didn't do an ultrasound until 40 weeks, but I was measuring on track with my weeks. Are you measuring on track?
