I have been married for 8 years now. We have a 2 year old. My husband does take care of me and my son well. He loves our son dearly. The problem is his relationship with other people. He thinks that every person he meets does not treat him well or does not like to talk to him. Its always some issue or the other. He judges people a lot. Initially I thought he hated only my family ( since he always had something to complain about all the time) but i now understand that he has this negative feeling towards almost everyone. I am actually afraid to bring my family or friends or even our common friends home because after they leave he will have a long list of complaints about them. He has even stopped talking to a lot of his friends due to finding some fault with them. A recent example, our neighbor of 4 months came to our home yesterday and after she left he says that she did not talk to him well and so probably does not like him. We went to a shop and he says the cashier spoke well to the customer before him but did not talk to him. I am completely at loss as to what his issue is. I am not looking for divorce. Looking for suggestions on how i can help him. I feel like he has some issues mentally but dont know what.
