So I can’t tell if I’m just misunderstanding or if my tests are just different/weird. We’ve been TTC for going on 6 months now for our second. Our son was on the first try, so naturally I’m stressing lol. Maybe that’s a contributing factor 😆. Anywho, I just want to get things straight.

Ovulation strips… you get a peak result, and supposedly ovulate in the next 24-48 hours… right?

But also — you ovulate… and typically it’s 14 days until a period once you ovulate, correct??

Confused because I ALWAYS have my period exactly 2 weeks after my peak ovulation test result. So with that, does that mean I am ovulating on my peak day? Or would it still be 24-48 hours after that peak result?

My husband is 35 and although he doesn’t have low sperm count or anything, we try to avoid every single day during fertile window just for stronger swimmers lol, but I’m wondering if maybe we’re timing things slightly wrong?

Maybe I’m overthinking it hahaha but if anyone is more knowledgeable than I am, please let me know what you think 🙈😅
