CNC and low libido?

My fwb and I have discussed CNC before and it was something we both wanted to try but we decided to have some vanilla sex first. However, I have a change in libido and it's barely there now. So my fwb asked if I wanted to do the CNC now "since it would be more realistic" (exact words). Is it a good idea? And is it just me or does making it more realistic seem like actual r***?

I’ve been in the BDSM community for 13 years. I’ve taken numerous classes with years of research and hands on practice. I have even taught some classes. 
CNC MUST be negotiated and consented to. You MUST have a safe word and exit plan. You MUST follow RACK, SSC, 4 C’s, etc. It is a type of fear play and can be considered a type of edge play. It can be dangerous and traumatizing if you have not done research on it to have a safe scene. Aftercare is a MUST. This is a heavy scene and you can experience different types of emotional and physical drops. 
It’s not for beginners and it’s not something to just jump into. That is dangerous 🚩🚩🚩 
Really do your research. Really think about it. CNC is a kink, meaning it’s actually pleasurable for consenting parties. It won’t mix well with being dry. That can lead to tearing and other issues.

I would not, especially if you’re not feeling it, you’re obviously having doubts, or you wouldn’t be asking us, I would lay off all together. If you’re not in it, makes no sense. It just sounds like you’re being forced to do something you don’t want to do and that’s not fair to you, eventually, it’s like a dog humping your leg until you are tired of it. That or you gonna feel like it’s sexual assault or rape because you don’t want it. It’s one thing when it’s something you both want, it’s another thing when you don’t want it and you’re just sucking it up and take one for the team.
