How long do you plan to breastfeed ?

I’m almost 1 year in but I hate pumping. I think I’m going to stop pumping when my son turns 1 and then just nurse him.

My boy will be 1 on 2/8. I plan to bf till he's at least 2, but if he wants to go shorter or longer I'll follow his lead! As for pumping I never bother with it anymore, but I'm fortunate to get to stay home with him or take him with me everywhere I go so he's always able to bf when he needs to. I commend all the mamas that do mostly pump and give bottled breast milk, I pumped and tried to give bottled breast milk for about 3 months and it was too much of a hassle even though I only did it 2-3 times a week. Feeding at the breast is a million times easier, at least for me.

Answer

My goal is to go as long as my baby wants or needs this time around. With my first I stopped at 16 months bc he was nursing all night long and I couldn’t take it anymore. If this baby ends up being the same way I may stop around that time too.
