Discharge 2 days before period

I am supposed to be getting my period Thursday. I have been having a lot of discharge. Should I be concerned? I took a blood test and I am not pregnant. Today is Day 28. I want to start my next cycle and do not want my period to be late.

No discharge is normal unless you have burning and itching or an abnormal smell.
