Membrane sweep timing?

Hi all, I am 41 weeks today. Had my first membrane sweep this morning. Wondering how long it takes for any 'signs' of labor to start? Really hoping I go today or soon so I don't have to induce... Any thoughts appreciated. TIA

I had three sweeps. One at 38 weeks, 39 weeks and one at 40 weeks. 12 hours after the one at 40 weeks, my contractions started and I had my son within 36 hours

Just had mine done! 40w2d today, and after the sweep I was at 2 cm. I'll keep you posted, and please do the same!! Newborn dust to you all! ✨👶🏼✨

My water broke after mine about 5 hours later! Good luck!

Is just be prepared in case it doesn't work. I had my sweep at 40+3. I didn't go into labor until 41+4. If your body isn't ready nothing will work.

Had my first sweep when I was 38 weeks. Nothing, just helped me lose my mucus plug  and bloody show. Today 40 weeks and 2 days , Just had my second one & Nothing so far ...=\ just some bleeding , nothing serious. They sent me back home.
