How do you get your babies back to sleep after night feedings?

FTM here and I’ve realized one of my biggest struggles is getting my daughter back to sleep after breastfeeding her in the middle of the night. After she’s fed she just wants to stay up for hours. What can I do to help her fall back sleep? (She is 2 weeks old if that helps)

I make sure to do diapers before food or halfway thur at the latest and I leave mine swaddled during the feeding. I keep the lights as low as possible generally I use my phone flashlight facing down with the pop socket popped out to hold it off the table so only some light comes out.

What time are you putting baby down for bed? If it's too early that will make it harder for baby to fall back asleep. Newborns generally have later bedtimes; 10pm has worked well for my three kiddos. Also at this early stage it's common for days and nights to still be a bit confused, so do whatever you can to differentiate between the two.
