Chemical pregnancy

Ended up testing positive on 12/29 followed by positive HCG blood work 12/30. Which then I started to bleed darker red with pretty bad cramping. I went to the doctor 1/3 for exam, blood work, and ultrasound. HCG level was only 41 and ultrasound showed nothing present. I go for a second HCG 1/5 to confirm the downward trend of a chemical pregnancy. This was my first positive pregnancy test. Definitely emotionally draining, a lot of emotions over the past 24 hours. But apparently chemical pregnancies are extremely common which I had no idea about. So, moving forward in the new year with a positive attitude and hopefully can conceive in a couple months💕
