Persistant irregular bleeding after sex please help

On Dec 20 i had the nexplanon arm implant put in about a week later (dec 27) me and my partner did it and i started bleeding really really heavily. Every time me and mg partner have sex I start bleeding and the bleeding persistany lasts for days. My dr appointment got rescheduled should I be concerned??
