Rectal spasms/pain while pregnant

Everytime my period is coming i get this shooting pain/spasm up my rectum , it has been happening for years and its only when im menstruating, i had looked it up a while ago a found out it was common for women to experience “proctalgia fugax” when menstruating. But days before my period was due i started having this so i thought my period was coming, like every month. Thing is i turned out to be pregnant, i am almost 7 weeks now, and still experience this rectal pain occasionally. Has anyone experienced this? I sent a message to my OB and she scheduled a phone appt, and my first ultrasound is not until the 16th.
