Late Bloomer?
My baby is now 15 months and can only say Dada. I’ve brought this up to his pediatrician and he doesn’t seem to be concerned. Well I just feel like I’m failing him by not having taught him this earlier. I always try to count to 3 when doing different things around the house or sing the abc’s or do animal sounds but baby doesn’t seem interested. He responds to his name, he knows how to clap, he loves dancing will hold my hand to tell me he wants to dance, takes me to the pantry when he wants a snack, gets a cloth or paper towel to wipe down surfaces when I’m cleaning, but he can’t wave bye, say mama, high five, move his head to say no or yes. Am I overreacting? What are some useful tools to start helping him in learning all these things? I will definitely be putting my phone down more around him and interact more with him, can’t help but feel this is our fault 😔
