i just found out i’m having a girl and i already knew what i wanted for a first and middle name. which was Chenoa Rayne (pronounced Rain). i love how it just goes together. my bf was 100% fine with the name and loved it. when he told his mom she was like “oh the name isn’t italian. she should have an italian name.” like no. first of all last time i checked, i’m having this baby not you. second of all, it’s not your choice. now my bf is trying to compromise our baby’s name and do Chenoa Marie or something. i’m telling him no. that’s his moms middle name (mine too) and frankly it’s so common. like you helped me choose Chenoa Rayne and now you’re going to switch up bc your mom doesn’t like it? like no. i shut that shit down real quick. is his mom going to be causing more problems? what do you think? like should i start creating my boundaries?
