Can you ovulate and have solid negative OPKs?

Question

Just curious if anyone has consistently gotten negative OPKS but still ovulated and gotten a BFP? 
I still have a few days until O day but my OPKs are soooo negative. Like the most negative they can be, and have been this way for days. The last 5 months haven’t been this way, there’s always been at least a small line leading up to ovulation.

You could miss your surge but it is also possible to have a cycle where you don’t ovulate.

I never got a positive OPK and I'm pregnant for the 6th time, 3rd child. I gave up using them after my third pregnancy.

OPKs don’t necessarily need to build up to a positive, it can happen suddenly. Mine would have very little warning (be super faint), then go straight to positive. If you’ve noticed a build up in the past by this point, then your body may be ovulating late this month.
The important part is just that you get a positive at some point in the month. You can’t ovulate without an LH surge. Sometimes it’s so short that women miss it if they don’t test often enough, but other than that, you should still get a positive at some point.
