I had the paragard put in in 2018 I had to have it taken out in November bc it moved down and had a new one inserted 2-3 weeks ago I have never had heavy periods before and am looking for help to calm my nerves when does it get to a point where you need to see a doctor? I am soaking through pads quickly bleeding a lot more than I ever have with anything. I am feeling lightheaded and shaky but I am not sure if it’s just my anxiety. I had no symptoms AT ALL the first time I got it in so I have nothing to compare it to. Please help. If you have ever had it how were your periods like after and when does it become a point of concern? Or anyone with heavy periods is it normal to feel like this from losing so much blood? There have been plenty of periods where I knew I was tired from losing blood but I’ve never felt this bad but again I’ve never lost this amount of blood before. I always had anxiety about it moving but after years I figured I was good. I want to make sure it’s not moved. I have a follow up appointment in a few weeks and they’re closed on the weekends. I don’t want to go to urgent care for this ):
