Do you call Christian Chris?

Guys I love the name Christian but I don’t like the name Chris. Do you think Chris is a nickname for Christian or Christopher?

I think it depends on when they get older and what they choose to be called is what usually dictates that. Like example is my SILs fiancé is Christian but he goes by CJ because his middle name is James and he doesn’t like the name Christian. I personally LOVE the name Christian!

I think it could be but if you never call him that I don’t think other people would. My name is Kristen and no one calls me Kris lol

I have a Christian and sometimes I might shorten it for Chris. But no one else does really.
