Best time??

When's the best time to get 3D pics of baby during 3rd trimester? So we will get a pretty good idea of what he will look like? Ive seen some and they are amazing! 30 weeks too soon?

My ultrasound tech said between 28-30 weeks. After 30 weeks baby may be a bit crowded and the pics might not turn out as well.

Essentially, anywhere after 28 weeks and before 34 weeks is fine. I'm going in at 31 weeks on January 30th !

Someone told me to wait till 36 weeks if I was considering getting them done. She said she did her sons at 30 weeks and her daughters at 36 weeks and her daughters 3D pics turned out way better. My husband and I ultimately decided against them. If I'm going to pay $150 to get good images at 36 weeks, I can wait 4 more weeks (give or take) to see my baby in person lol. But I can't wait to see all of the ones everyone posts on here!

They were able to do one at my last scan. I was 24 weeks. But bub had its face into my hip. So didn't get a full face one. But its still pretty cool :)

The doctors told be between 28-32 weeks because there is still room to see the baby well, without him/her being too cramped for space.

Most places don't guarantee pics after 32 weeks because they are too squished to get a good view. I'm going at 28 weeks
