When did you leave your baby with a babysitter?

How old was your baby before you left them with a baby sitter for 4-6 hours?

From 3months to a year he would be babysat by family (mom, MIL, or SIL) when my husband and I both had to work or the occasional date night. After one year, those are still the main babysitters but I’ll also bring him to the gym daycare for a couple hours so I can have some me-time and exercise

Other than my own mother and my ex-mother-in-law, my kids have never been babysat by anyone. They are 5 and almost 4 years old. 
Just can’t trust people nowadays.

Is my mom considered a baby sitter? Because I don’t leave my son with anyone overnight except his grandparents

We went to a wedding of a family member around 2 or 3 months and left our baby with a trusted friend. Honestly, it was easier for me back then to leave him with a sitter than it is now as a toddler lol because I know he has some separation anxiety now that he’s older

Our oldest was just about 3 months old when I put her to bed for the day and left on a date with my husband for my birthday. My wonderful MIL kept an eye on her and went home when we got home.

My kid is almost 4 and I still haven't 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm just not comfortable with it personally but if you know someone you can 100% trust and you have nanny cams to check on whats going on leave your baby with a sitter whenever you're ready. Everyone does at different times.

Oldest 4 months old, we had bought Metallica tickets a year before I found out I was pregnant. 
Youngest like 18 months or something.
