When you realize you and your husband have to agree on naming another human…again

Anyone else have a difficult time naming their previous babes? Me and my husband are polar opposites in what we like for names, so this is our baby #3 and unexpected on top of that. So I just came to the realization last night we would have to agree on yet another name😂🙈 already downloaded the name generator app and started a list for both genders. Lord help us!

My husband and I also have a hard time naming our children.. while this is not for everyone… it’s how we do it.. each of us gets the entire pregnancy to come up with names, if either of us “veto” the name then it’s out. After we have a list of “ok” names, we each narrow our choices down to 2 names. After the baby is born we put the 4 names in a hat and we let the baby choose their name. The nurses always get a giggle out of it.

For us, I picked the first name and he picked the middle with baby 1, baby 2 we switched, so I’m curious to see how the third will go. I didn’t like his choice for our second, but it’s grown on me over the years obviously. For our seconds middle name we had a hard time, so I made a long list, he crossed out the ones he didn’t prefer, until we narrowed it down. My one rule I set forth is no “bad talking” each other’s ideas- it kept a lot of the negativity out of the conversation. Here’s to all of us finding good names! We have time as of now. 😅👍🏻

We already have names picked. Lol we were talking Saturday and came up with them. Girl is going to be Chloe Ann and Boy will be Carter Adam.
