Any experiences during pregnancy being Rh negative?

I was told thats I was Rh negative and week 28 I have to have another blood test and a shot to prevent my body from producing antibodies. Supposedly this pregnancy has nothing to be concerned about but my future pregnancies could be at risk. Anyone else have some reassurance?

I'm rh negative as well and my doctor said it's nothing to be too concerned about. If your baby is rh positive your body could attack it's blood, but if it's not it will be fine. You'll have to get shots but that keeps everything in check. If your partner is rh negative you have nothing to worry about (but you'll get the shots no matter what), but if he's positive there's a chance it could happen, because the baby could have gotten his blood type. If you have any bleeding call your doctor asap but it should be fine!

I am rh negative and had three successful pregnancies. I get my shots when I'm suppose too. Its just in case the baby is rh positive. It prevents the blood cells from attacking each other at birth or if there is any signs of bleeding before that. I had slight bleeding at the beginning of this pregnacy and had to have a shot. Had another shot around 28 weeks and will have another at birth. Its nothing to worry about and it hasn't put me at any risk.
