I keep seeing where doctors say there’s no evidence that leads to believe an epidural can cause lasting back pain but i’m 20, had an epidural last march and my lower back hurts so bad some days.

It is very rare for an epidural itself to cause long term back pain, but rare doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

I have back pain yes, but I started working out to strengthen my core and the pain goes away. It’s not about my epidural. It’s about keeping my body healthy and strong and able.

No, my back pain is from the sciatic nerve pain from actually carrying my children but not from the epidural itself. My back was sore around the epidural site area for around 3 months after each time, but then no issues. However my back is wrecked from actual pregnancy. 😮‍💨
