We just found out or 1 yr old girl has pyometra. I never even heard of it until today. They want 5k to do surgery to remove her uterus… obviously we do not have 5k to give them. I’m currently pregnant and both of our cars are in the shop. They gave us antibiotics to give her but ultimately there’s no guarantee it will fix her or that it won’t come back. If things progress and become worse we have no choice but to put her down. I am devastated she is the sweetest and the most behaved out of our 4. An absolute love bug and I cannot believe we really might have to put her down.
