Ttc after D&C

Did you ladies try right after you stopped bleeding, or after one full cycle? Is there a chance of infection if you try before your cycle starts back? I know my doctor told me no sex (and nothing going up there) for 2 weeks after the surgery. Im looking to see if any of you ladies have tried AFTER the 2 weeks had passed and when the bleeding had stopped. Or if you waited for your cycle to start back up and end. Thank you ladies :)
