Teething

My son is currently doing this weird thing where he is sticking his tongue alittle and drooling . He sticks his tongue out and like sucks alittle back and forth and drools. I know the drooling part is a sign of teething but what is this tongue situation he has going on I’m confused . In the beginning I thought he was hungry but I know it’s not that because he sucks on my nipple every chance he can get to suck me like a pacifier and then he pulls my nipple which really hurts .
