So I have a regular cycle spot on every 27 days every month. I had a period on November 23 and then on Dec 20 (on time). Even tho i came on my period, I had an extra pregnancy test just laying around from my last cycle so I decided to take it. It come out positive. SUPER DUPER faint. I could barely see it but there was definitely a line. I figured since I’ve started my period, it was probably a chemical and that it’ll resolve itself. I continued to test for about a week and the test never got dark. They stayed faint for a whole week so I’m like yea it’s a chemical and didn’t think anything of it so I stopped testing. Fast forward to around January 1st (ovulation) Timeframe I actually feel when I am ovulating every month and I know which side I ovulated from. Anyways we do the deed a few times and fast forward to last Thursday January 5th. I test again and I was so sure it would be negative because it would be wayyy too early to get a positive being that I ovulated around January 1 and it’s only the 5th. But to my surprise it comes back positive. And the line is dark not as dark as the control line but it’s dark. I then call my doctor and they gave me come in for blood work

and an ultrasound. During my ultrasound there was obviously nothing there I was 2w3d at the time. Didn’t see anything in my uterus. She then checks my ovaries and then my tubes and cervix and she says everything looks good there’s nothing anywhere. So I said wouldn’t it be too early to see if it were in my tubes or anywhere else and she said not really because there are signs and things to look for after implantation and we’d be able to tell if something is there. So I said ok and it was like a weight lifted off my shoulder. She also told me that she can see that I just ovulated from my left ovary. She then said everything looks good hopefully this will be your rainbow baby. Fast forward to yesterday Jan.11 my doctor calls me and tells me that my Hcg is low (255) and that she looked over the ultrasound pictures and there was no evidence of a pregnancy & that the period I just had & that it indicates that I am experiencing an early lost & to come back next Monday for a second blood draw to make sure everything is back down to 0. Fast forward to today January 12 I tested again and the line is super dark, darker than the control line.

But I’m just so confused. How would I

get a dark positive so early after ovulation? And according to my LMP 12/20/22, I was 2w3d during the time of my ultrasound so of course there wouldn’t be anything on the ultrasound not even a gestational sac and also I don’t think 255hcg is low for 2 weeks. I’m just so confused. Did I experience a chemical and get pregnant again immediately after? I’m sorry it’s so long I’m just trying to make sense of it all. thank you!
