POSTPARTUM HAIR LOSS- if you suffered from it with your first, did you also suffer from it with your second?

If you have/had a medical condition that causes hair loss (like anemia or postpartum thyroiditis), please do not answer. This is only for good old postpartum hair loss caused by telogen effluvium.

I actually didn’t lose any with my first, but lost a bunch with my second.

With my first just seemed to thin out and not be as thick.
With the last 2, both boys be baby girl for my first,  I lost it in chunks! Like the part around the face looked like little baby hairs sticking up off my head!
I had Covid with my second so I blamed it on that…..but it happened again with my 3rd so I guess it just hits differently depending on the pregnancy!

I had my third child seven months ago and have lost hair with each of them - it’s awful and I don’t think my hair will ever be the same again! But, I am proactively taking steps to have healthier and potentially thicker hair for the future. Vitamins, silk pillow cases, water, scalp massages, and oil treatments have all made me feel better about it and stop stressing out as much.
